Super 8 by Wyndham Seguin

To start, I'm not leaving a review if your used to Marriotts! But since I have been traveling, this has been my "go to". The owners AND staff are great people. I can't count how many times I have stayed here but I personally have never seen a roach, dirty towel, or whatever other people are complaining about. EVER. AS A MATTER OF FACT from what I have seen, the owners take really good pride in this property. No cigarette butts around the property, no loud construction workers, partying all night, no druggies staying here or prostitutes, no sketchy people hanging out all night... One time I came here, i did have an issue with my A. C and uh, the owner and , a helper swapped it out within a half an hour and I was back up and running... And now, as I'm writing this review, they're getting a lot of painting, done to the outside . If you're looking for a huge breakfast, then don't come here. But if you're tired and want coffee and something small to put in your stomach before your next day trip, this is the perfect place. I have already been here. I don't know how many times and had conversation with the these people but they are truly true, amazing, great folks. Front desk to the owners to the housekeeping. All great people.

Clean, friendly staff, fair price. Entrance is tricky to get to but that was likely due to construction.

Great place to stay when visiting Seguin. The rooms were very clean. Staff just needs to be just a little more customer friendly. But other than that is was a great experience.

The parking lot was well lit and clean. The room was nice, looked clean and a good size. We got a 2 queen room but, as usual, could not get any extra pillows. We were also disappointed as we were getting comfortable in one of the beds, we noticed that one of the pillows had a huge portion of it stained with what looked like red lipstick. The fridge had unfortunately frozen over, so it was not cooling, and the ac unit wasn't cooling very well either.

Staff friendly, clean comfortable room, accessible to nearby restaurants. Plenty of parking. I would recommend highly

Let's be clear, this is not a high end hotel and thus shouldn't be held at that same standard. This is however a decent hotel and worked perfectly for a unscheduled overnight stop. The staff in the office was polite and professional. The exterior of the motel was decently clean, a few cig butty laying around but that is what happenes when people don't clean up after themselves. The room at first was very warm since the ac was off. Was this preferred, absolute not, but this was a last min booking and I wouldnt expect a business to constantly keep all the units running. The room cooled off pretty quickly with the ac. There was no moldy smells or anything to cause concern. The room was very clean and appeared to been repainted at some point. Everything worked fine, the shower was decent, the TV worked and the bed was decently comfortable. I have stayed in worse and I have stayed in better, but this was a good motel for a last min option. Nothing here would prevent me from staying again.

Nice non-smoking room with double beds. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed, good a/c, safe location. We wanted a pet-friendly motel and this worked well. We would stay here again.
